I lived near Lyon for several years, so it felt quite natural to start this new series of articles with this city. Focused on discovering coworking spaces within a specific geographic area, the goal of this category is to gather as many user reviews as possible to guide you toward the best spaces based on your expectations.
After doing some research and asking for feedback, I realized that starting by listing Lyon’s coworking spaces was no easy task – and for good reason: Lyon has over 80 coworking spaces and third-places! 😅
The vast majority of these spaces didn’t respond to my inquiries – but I still managed to get a few replies (thanks, guys! 😉), as well as some reviews from coworkers. That’s why, to flesh out this article, please feel free to share your own experiences with Lyon’s coworking spaces in the comments section!

- L’Atelier des Médias (9 Quai André Lassagne) – Initially created by and for web and media professionals, this coworking space is now open to everyone!
- Anticafé Lyon (9 Rue du Bât d’Argent) : I tested it myself and absolutely loved the concept! €6 an hour, with unlimited drinks and snacks (guacamole, cereal, toast…). The place is friendly while still offering more isolated areas to retreat and work in your own corner. I loved spending my day there!

- Le Simone (45 Rue Vaubecour) : A community café entirely run by volunteers! In addition to occasional events, Café Simone offers a coworking space that was described to me as very studious (networking fans, be aware that it seems to be harder to mingle there) – you’ll find a warm place with good coffee and a very nice decor. 🙂
